HEALTH & SAFETY

While we’re excited to be reopening, our number one commitment remains the welfare of our guests and our team as we take these first steps together.

After close and careful consultation, we’ve put in place measures designed to ensure the safety of our employees and our guests alike. This is our new “business as usual”.

Here’s what we’re doing at The Trough and for our team.

All staff will still be required to wear masks.
We’ve carried out a revised full risk assessment.
All employees’ temperatures are taken each day upon arrival. Staff have been advised to take LFT twice a week.
A deep clean every night.
All tables and chairs are fully cleaned after use.
All condiments are cleaned prior to use.
A dedicated employee committed to ensuring all health and safety is to the highest standard.
Opening windows to allow good air circulation.

And here’s how you can help.

We kindly ask you to amend your reservation if you are showing any symptoms. Please re-book with us once self-isolation has taken place.
Hand sanitisers will be available for customer and staff use.
As wearing masks is not mandatory we ask our customers to make their own decision on whether to wear one.
